As part of her 2016 artist-in-residence program at the University of South Florida in Tampa, Tarek created a fantastic acrylic mural, The Invisible Man in a Fluorescent Suit (2015) at the USF Contemporary Art Museum, using acrylics on wood.

Her print, Cairo Man (2017), was made at USF Graphic Studio as a result of a photogravure project in collaboration with Master Printer Tim Baker.
