Redbull 2025 — Acrylics on wall, 10.5 × 4 m. Commissioned by Mudec Museum, Milan. Curated by Alice Cosmai.
Painted inside Milan's Museum of Cultures for the first mural project ever commissioned by a public museum — ten international artists invited to work on the museum's walls for three months, each interpreting the theme of "Journey." The mural is a hulking red bull surrounded by small human figures tasting its flesh. The bull is capitalism rendered as an animal — the thing consumed and the thing that consumes. The figures cling and feed. The red saturates: a reference to the red cow of the Old Testament, the sacrifice described in Numbers 19, where contact with the ashes of a slaughtered sacred animal was the only path to ritual purity. Purification through destruction, tourism as conquest, the journey as an act of consumption that devours what it came to see.
